
Class Levels
These are the generally recommended class ages:
Pre-Beginner: Ages 2.5-5
Beginner Level: Ages 5-7
Level I: Ages 7-10
Level II: Ages 11-14
Level III: Ages 15-18
It is important that students are placed in the correct class so they can feel both challenged and motivated based on their ability and the hours they train. Level is decided by both age and ability. Typically, students will spend 2-3 years in a level before advancing. Progression can happen for students at different rates. Parents should continue to support their child and help them understand that they are talented and exceptional, and that it is truly important to be in a class where they can excel in.
